Last updated: 1 January 2026

1. Introduction

This policy explains how DigitalEra handles information when you visit this website, submit an enquiry, message us on WhatsApp, or engage us for services or training.

We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and deliver our services, and we keep it for only as long as that purpose requires.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, company details, the service you are interested in and any message you send through our enquiry form, WhatsApp, email or phone.

Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP address, referring page and pages viewed on this site.

Project information: during an engagement we may hold brand assets, content, account access and campaign data required to perform the work you asked for.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not ask for payment card details on this website.

3. How We Use Your Information

To respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and provide the services or training you request.

To communicate updates, reports and reminders relating to your project or batch.

To improve this website, our offering and our content, using aggregated and anonymised usage data.

To send occasional service updates or offers where you have asked for them. You can opt out at any time by replying to us on WhatsApp or email.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

4. WhatsApp Enquiries

Buttons and forms on this website open a WhatsApp conversation with our business number and pre-fill a message containing the details you entered. Once sent, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

We use the details in these messages solely to respond to and manage your enquiry.

5. Cookies & Similar Technologies

This website uses a small amount of local browser storage to remember your cookie preference, and may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors navigate the site.

You can decline non-essential cookies using the banner shown on your first visit, and you can clear or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site function.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on reputable third parties to operate our business, including hosting and CDN providers, Google (Maps, Analytics, Ads), Meta advertising platforms, WhatsApp, email and CRM tools, and AI service providers used in production work.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We share only what is necessary for a specific purpose and never for resale.

Embedded content such as the Google Map on our contact page may set its own cookies when loaded.

7. Data Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls, strong authentication and a need-to-know approach to client credentials. Access is granted only to team members working on your account and revoked when it is no longer required.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach affecting your data occurs, we will inform you promptly and explain the steps taken.

8. Data Retention

Enquiry details are retained for up to 24 months so we can follow up on conversations you started. Client project records and invoices are retained as required for accounting and statutory purposes.

You may ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.

9. Your Rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, ask for deletion, withdraw consent for marketing messages, or object to a particular use of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at digitalera@gmail.com or +91 72079 26206. We respond to genuine requests within a reasonable period.
